Figured it might be useful to pass on word about Saturday's second-annual Clemson Football Youth Day at Memorial Stadium.

The event is for children in the 1st to 6th grades, and an estimated 500 kids showed up at last year's inaugural event.

Registration is from 10-10:30 a.m. at the WestZone facility. Children will tour the new facility, rub the rock, run down The Hill and eat free pizza before watching the Tigers scrimmage.

After the scrimmage, the children will go onto the field and get autographs from players and coaches.

Sounds like a fun deal if you have kids and will be in the area.
